Councillor puts in bid for facilities in Gosport.
Turning a disused military hospital in Hampshire back into a treatment centre for injured service people may sound like a u-turn.
But Gosport councillor Peter Edgar insists there's scope for a military rehabilitation treatment centre at the Haslar Hospital site - despite its recent sale to developers.
A new Government audit reveals current Ministry of Defence medical provisions may not be able to cope with the increasing number of patients.
Councillor Edgar told The Coast's Clare Woodling, that making room at Haslar would make good sense.
