Four children involved in Hampshire crash

Three people seriously hurt near Winchester.

Four children have been involved in a road crash in Hampshire.

Three people had to be cut free from the wreckage of a car and a people carrier near Winchester.

The car had overturned and the 20 year old driver suffered serious head injuries.

He was flown to The John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

His 20 year old female passenger was also seriously hurt and she was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital.

One other person was seriously hurt and four people were described as walking wounded.

They are being treated at Southampton General Hospital and the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.

Morestead Road in Owslebury was closed for five hours on Sunday afternoon.
